The Gambler Panama Hat is also known as the Plantation Hat. It is a white Cuenca hat with a round crown and a wide brim. It was used as a working hat at sugar cane and cotton plantations. Also worn by river boat gamblers at the Mississipi river as well as horse race gamblers.
